Operator consciousness
Often, it's referred to as part of the Depersonalization-derealization disorder [1]. This is the weird state of a conscious being that knows their existence as a human is an extension of a perspective.
The topic is deeply philosophical and abstract. Feelings of depersonalization and derealization can be very disturbing. You may feel like you're living in a dream.
Psychologists say that this condition is more common in people who experience trauma, such as violence, abuse, or other kinds of extreme stress. [2]
But what I am describing here is the "Operator consciousness".
A lot of people confuse it with a person being 'unable to control oneself' or 'perceiving the world as being outside oneself'. But a person with operator consciousness can experience the world within their body, and in its glory, and can experience thoughts and dreams, and can be biased too.
But the consciousness here is different from a regular consciousness due to the individual seeing the world from a 'perspective' instead of a physical entity. This is because they see the physical existence of themselves as a tool to interact with the regular world.
Though for most, the reason for the perspective to exist is undefined, like regular consciousnesses.
People with operator consciousness are independent of heartbreaking emotions [3]. They are likely to be manipulative and oftentimes away from the spotlight.
Some say that they tend to be empathetic to the world, but this claim lacks evidence and can be disproven by the emotional numbness they tend to have, which makes it harder for them to empathize with others or understand the impact of one's actions on them.
Others judging their looks or their being doesnt hurt them, as they tend to look out for key events, just like how people skip through the story in video games.
This can also be related to the sixth level of consciousness, Universal Consciousness. In this level, Individuals expand their awareness beyond personal concerns to include global and universal perspectives. They develop a deep sense of empathy and compassion for all living beings. Universal consciousness is characterized by a commitment to positively impacting the world. [4]
